Aonami Line (あおなみ線) is the railway line in Nagoya City connecting Nagoya Station with Kinjo-Futo Station (Kinjo Pier Station). "Aonami Line" is the nickname of West Nagoya Port Line (Nishi-Nagoyako Line, 西名古屋港線). It is operated by Nagoya Seaside Rapid Railway . It was a branch line of Tokaido Line only for freight trains before, but it was opened as a passenger railway line on October 6, 2004.
Incidentally, this line is still operated as a freight line by Japan Freight Railway Company between Nagoya Station and Nagoya Freight Terminal , therefore, the section between Nagoya Station and Arako Station is used as both passenger line and feight line.
Every station of Aonami Line has its symbol number.
