A poorly known group of legless lizards native to southern Australia an SE Asia, found in tropical forests. These lizards have a rigidly fused skull, no pterygoid teeth, reduced eyes, and no external ears. They have only their rear limbs, which are flap-like and used during mating my the male. They are egg-layers.
