Joseph Gallison (born March 9, 1935) is an American soap opera actor. He was born in Houston, Texas.
Gallison was the first William Matthews, Jr. on the American soap opera Another World (1964-1969) and is best known for his role as Dr. Neil Curtis on Days of Our Lives (1974-1991).
Gallison's character on Days of Our Lives was one of the few people on the serial to be fired without an explanation as to what happened to the character. In his final scene, he told his love interest that he had to go see some patients, and that he would be back soon. He never returned and his absence was never explained.
