Maria Eleonora of Brandenburg was the daughter of Elector Johann Sigismund of Brandenburg. Johann Sigismund was born 1572. Maria Eleonora and her husband, the Swedish king Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden of the Royal House of Vasa, had a daughter, Christina of Sweden born in 1626.
