Red Channels: The Report of Communist Influence in Radio and Television was a anti-communist pamphlet published in the United States. The pamphlet was written by Theodore Kirkpatrick, a former FBI agent and Vincent Harnett, a television producer and published the right-wing journal Counterattack on June 22, 1950.
The pamphlet was released three years after the House Un-American Activities Committee began investigating communist influence in the entertainment industry. The pamphlet listed 151 people in entertainment who was accused of being a member of subversive and communist organizations. Sources were also cited in the pamphlet. The sources ranged from articles from newspapers, Daily Worker, and other sources.
