Rodeo is a ballet written by American composer Aaron Copland. It was originally created for a string orchestra but he later modified it for a full symphony orchestra. The best known use of this ballet's music was the section entitled "Hoe Down", used on TV in the U.S. for the beef commercial with the tagline "It's what's for dinner." "Hoe Down," is, in turn, based on the American folk song "Bonepart's Farewell."
