The San Antonio Texans played in the Alamodome for the 1995 Canadian Football League season. They had relocated from Sacramento, California, where the team had been called the Sacramento Gold Miners. The team owner was Fred Anderson, and the general manager was Tom Bass. San Antonio had been slated to become a CFL city in 1993 when Larry Benson received a franchise, but it never played a down.
