Toho Co., Ltd. (Tōhō, 東宝映画) is a large Japanese film studio that has produced the Godzilla films, as well as the films of Akira Kurosawa.
In the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s Toho's television division produced super heroe TV series (Rainbowman, Diamond Eye, Bankids, Ryuusei Ningen Zoon, Megaloman, Cybercops, Guyferd). In 2004 they returned to tokusatsu (science fiction) television with Gransazers.
In more recent years, they have produced video games and to a limited extent anime.
