Wijdemeren (population: 23,333 in 2004) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 76.55 km² (of which 28.53 km² water).
The municipality of Wijdemeren consists the following towns, villages and townships: Ankeveen , Boomhoek , Breukeleveen , 's-Graveland , Kortenhoef , Muyeveld , Nederhorst den Berg , Nieuw-Loosdrecht , Oud-Loosdrecht .
