WrestleMania
WrestleMania is the name given to the annual flagship pay-per-view event of World Wrestling Entertainment. It is also known as the grandest event in professional wrestling, started in March 31, 1985 in New York's Madison Square Garden by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
WrestleMania is to wrestling as the Super Bowl is to the NFL or as the World Series is to Major League Baseball, in the sense that it is the most important event of the year in sports entertainment. It is the largest of all major wrestling events in the world, where participating in its main event marks the pinnacle of a professional wrestler's career.

Facts and Figures
- WrestleMania III set the record for the largest indoor attendance of an event in history: 93,173 . However, the numbers have been contested.
- Celebrities like Cyndi Lauper, Mr. T, Aretha Franklin, Donald Trump, Vanna White, Run DMC and many others have attended WrestleMania.
- Bands like Motörhead and Limp Bizkit have performed live during WrestleMania.
- The Undertaker has never lost a match at WrestleMania. Currently, his record in WrestleMania matches is 13-0. His list of Victims include; 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, Giant Gonzales, King Kong Bundy, Diesel, Sycho Sid, Kane - WM XIV, Big Bossman, Triple H, Ric Flair, Big Show & A-Train, Kane - WM XX, and most recently Randy Orton.
- WrestleMania VI & X-8 are the only two 'Mania's' to be held outside of the United States, both being held at the SkyDome (now Rogers Centre), in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Iron Sheik, Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Hart, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff, 'Cowboy' Bob Orton Jr., and Nikolai Volkoff all took part at the inaugural WrestleMania on March 31, 1985; 20 years later, on April 2, 2005, all seven Superstars were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, the night before WrestleMania 21.
